Today was a sad day because another earth angel got his wings. He flew high into heavens with guiding light of the wolf moon last night. Mr. Gosselin will be dearly missed by his family and friends. This candle was lit for him and all that have lost loved ones on this day.

Each night, I vent. As the cover states, I vent about stupid stuff but I always end with reflection and gratitude. Gratitude for a home, food in the cupboard, clothes on my back, friends that I can call my family, and dogs that remind me that there is (maybe) a God or someone in the universe watching out for us.

I love football! Rams and Saints game is so exciting to watch! Can’t wait to watch the Patriots!!
Update: 1/21/2019 – One of the most heart stopping games that I have watched in a long time. Brady under pressure but his skills and determination in the pocket showed up and delivered. Well done, Patriots. I can’t wait to watch you in the Super Bowl.

Update: Well, the beginning the snow removal didn’t go quite as planned. Daisy wouldn’t start and the latch to the hood broke, but neighbors and family came to the rescue.

I’m relaxing and recharging by the glow of my Himalayan salt lamp and with my sweet sidekick, Virginia Kaylie. We are reflecting on our day, seeing what we can improve on and being grateful for this day. Virginia Kaylie says she’s perfect But I might need a pad and paper for mine. (Wink)

While sitting at my desk today, I noticed my gratitude rock sitting way in the back hidden behind my calculator. Well, I picked it up, took a moment to reflect and say thank you to it and for all I have. Yes, I did move it closer to the front. Everyone needs a daily reminder to have gratitude for the life they have because it could be much worse. Have a blessed week!
